i-Berhad (Malaysia) has produced a low end pocket media player, the i-pocketTAKEAWAY iV4032, featuring a 2.5” TFT-LCD display, 32MB built-in memory, SD/MMC memory expansion slot, built-in microphone and speaker, and a Li-Ion battery.

This tiny unit measures 96×77 x 20 mm (smaller than a regular PDA) and weighs 110g. Main functions include AV recorder, movie player, MP3 player, photo album and voice recorder. It supports ASF, JPEG, MP3 and WAV formats.

This unit retails for RM799 (approximately US$212). It’s small and cheap, and you get what you pay for.

      sadly, it can’t, never. i even saw someone selling iRiver 20 GB PMP-120 Portable Media Player on Amazon for less than US$300, which is a lot better than this product. if they could at least give it a 10-20Gb HDD, it might be useful for the group of consumers with tight budget.
