Samsung recently released the YP-TF7 series, which becomes the newest member of its Yepp mid-level portable media player product line. This miniature unit is almost as thick, and as tall as an AA size battery, measuring only 43.5×83 x 15.5 mm in dimensions and 55 g in weight.
The new Yepp YP-TF7 features a 1.2” color TFT-LCD. Playback formats supported including MP3, ASF, WMA, OGG, JPEG, as well as MPEG-4. It also comes with a FM tuner together with FM recording function, lyrics display, USB 2.0 interface, alarm clock as well as photo album function.
The YP-TF7 is available in two colors, sky blue and neo silver; and three models with different storage capacity, i.e. the 256MB YP-T7FVS, the 512MB YP-T7FXS, and the 1GB YP-T7FZS. The normal prices for the 256MB, 512MB and 1GB models are 199,000 Won, 239,000 Won and 289,000 Won respectively. The promotional price is 10% less: 179,000 Won (US$173), 215,000 Won (US$208) and 260,000 (US$252) respectively.
