Nokia 3250

Franco74 of Mobile-Review.com has reported that Nokia 3250 was unveiled at Nokia Trends Berlin. According to Franco74, this twistable candy bar handset is a mid-level MP3 phone developed on Symbian Series 60 platform, and runs on Symbian OS 9.0.

The Nokia 3250 employs a mini SD memory expansion slot for users to fully enjoy shooting pictures and recording videos using the 2 Megapixel camera without worrying about the storage capacity. However, the bad news is 3250 does not have a hard disk drive, 3G connectivity nor WiFi connectivity, which makes it a handset for the completely different users group than the previously announced 3G and WiFi enabled Nokia N91.

According to Franco74, this new handset is expected to be announced at CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2005, which will be held in San Francisco from today until this thursday. The Nokia 3250 will be available in Q1 2006 for approximately 400 Euros (US$481).

Note: Series 60 is a feature rich software platform for smartphones with advanced data capabilities. It is optimized for the Symbian OS.
