JVC recently announced the addition of a 2 Megapixel model to its Everio G series line of hard disk camcorders. The new GZ-MG70 features a 30GB internal hard disk drive, a 2.5” flip-out LCD monitor, and a CCD sensor that 2 Megapixels for up to 1600×1200 pixel still images, as well as 1.2 Megapixels for full 16:9 or 4:3 DVD movie quality video with digital stabilization.
The GZ-MG70 weighs just a pound with battery. The Everio G series GZ-MG70 offers 7 hours storage at 9 Mbps (DVD movie quality), 10.5 hours at 6 Mbps (DVD quality), 14 hours at 4.6 Mbps (TV quality), or 37 hours at 1.7 Mbps (Internet quality).
