Rumors about another BlackBerry model rise on the web recently, and this time it is the Verizon BlackBerry 7130e. amishjs has posted on the BlackBerry Forum, a picture of the shiny looking Verizon BlackBerry 7130e from what he believes to be somewhat official/confidential materials.

Russell Shaw of BBHub also claimed that he has read a PDF with the same image and some specifications of the Verizon BlackBerry 7130e, and he has posted a screenshot of the PDF on BBHub.

The Verizon BlackBerry is said to have the following features:


  • SureType Technology

  • Bluetooth

  • EvDO

  • Speaker Phone

  • 64MB Flash, 16MB SRAM

  • Polyphonic Ringtone

  • Built-in Photo Album

Now the folks over the BlackBerry Forum are expressing how they dislike the shiny look of this BlackBerry unit. We don’t like that shiny look either. What say you?

      I for one like the shiny look. I think it looks a little more up-to-date than the previous models.

      it ain’t that shiny, horrible pic. anyway, i look forward to some high-speed-blackberry- goodness, although the 7250 has the EVDO radio in it, it is just not activated yet ;) you will see.
