Voice dialing has been available on regular mobile phones for quite a few years, there is even Treo Voice Dialing (by VoiceSignal) for Palm Treo users to serve the same purpose. What about BlackBerry? Don’t you ever get annoyed for missing the feature on your BlackBerry? Look no further, RIMarkable has discovered a software for BlackBerry which does more than just voice dialing.

VoiceControl does not only let you make calls with voice commands such as “Call: Jeff Smith on Mobile” and “Dial: 513-555-1212”, it also let you manage your calendar, send short e-mails, browse web pages, as well as get quick stock quote and weather forecast simply using voice command.

VoiceControl costs just $5.39, if you want to try it out, there’s a free seven days trial version available. This software only runs on Blackberry Version 4.0.2.37 or higher. Even though not stated, we suspect it might only work well on Blackberry 7520 and 7100i because of the line “Click here from the browser on your BlackBerry 7520 or 7100i”, which leads users to the trial version on their website. If you find out that it works on other BlackBerry as well, please let us know.
