iRiver U10 offers a 2.2” color display, which also doubles up as the control interface. Unlike the normal touchscreens used on handheld devices, you don’t need a stylus pen as the U10’s ‘direct click’ feature is sensitive enough to responds to gentle pressure from the fingertip.
The iRiver U10 measures 69×47 x 16 mm in dimensions and weighs just 70 g, it features a QVGA LCD display, FM tuner, alarm clcok function, and supports playback for MP3s, WMAs, ASF, OGG, JPG, TXT, Flash (using Flash Lite 1.1) and MPEG-4 SP video , as well as games and text files. There is also an optional docking cradle with speakers, when combined with the FM tuner function, it would serve as a good alarm clock.
The iRiver U10 is available in two versions, the 512MB version and the 1GB version, with retail prices of approximately $200 and $250 respectively.
