Motorola on Tuesday introduced the new Motorola A1200 along with the PEBL U6 and the SLAR L7 in Shanghai. The new tri-band (900/1800/1900MHz) A1200 smartphone is rather slim comparing with other smartphones, and it weighs just 95 g.
The A1200 features a 2.4” 262k colors QVGA TFT touch screen, a 2 megapixel camera, a tough transparent flip cover to protect the touch screen, English and Chinese (for the Chinese markets, and probably South East Asian markets) hand writing input, POP3 mail function, speaker phone, music player, business applications, and other normal features you can find on a regular cellphone, as well as business card scanning function for you to scan and store your business partners’ business cards.
The A1200 will be available in 3 color options: black, red, and silver white. It is expected to hit the market in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan simultaneously in next February.
