Samsung has introduced their latest flash-based media player, the YP-Z5, which more or less resembles Apple’s iPod nano, but better than the latter as it also plays video (WMA) files other than audio files.
The new Samsung YP-Z5 media player will be available in 2GB and 4GB models. It features a sharp 1.8” TFT-LCD display, DNSe (Digital Natural Sound engine) 3D sound technology which could amplify sound at low-end volumes, and a Li-Polymer battery providing up to 38 hours of continuous audio playback. The YP-Z5 will debut at CES 2006 Las Vegas later this month.
