The Turbolinux Wizpy is not only a Linux based portable media player that plays MP3, Ogg, WMA, AAC and DivX formats, it’s also a portable Linux drive which lets you plug and boot into Turbolinux’s own Linux OS—Turbolinux FUJI on any PC.
The Wizpy weighs 60 g (2.1 ounces), and measures 84mm × 42mm × 12.2mm in dimensions. It also comes with a large 1.7-inch OLED display and FM radio function. The Linux OS is preloaded on 1.5GB (out of 4.0GB) of the device’s internal flash memory. Preinstalled software applications include Firefox, Thunderbird and Skype, allowing users to surf the internet and communicating with others via e-mail and chat.
This sexy device will be released in February 2007, with unknown price at the moment.
