Just when we thought the DELL XPS M1710 is gonna top the most powerful notebook computer for this year, PC MicroWorks released the a duo core SLI capable notebook computer – the Vega. It seems that the best things come in pair for the Vega, it is powered by AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core processor, jaw dropping dual 512MB nVidia Geforce Go 7950GTX or dual 512MB nVIDIA Quadro FX 2500M SLI GPUs, and dual 160 GB SATA hard drives (it also offers options for up to 600GB Perpendicular at 4200RPM).

The Vega super notebook also features a breathtaking 20.1” display, up to 4096MB DDR2 memories, Blue-ray RW or DVD-RW drive, EV-DO connection support which let you access the internet with broadband speeds of up to 3.1Mbps in most parts of the EV-DO service area (optional), built-in GPS receiver (optional), integrated media card reader compatible with SD, MMC, MS, MS Pro, MS Duo, Mini-SD, MMC, and RSMMC, built-in TV tuner (optional), and other standard features for modern notebook.

The Vega is a monstrous notebook, which also comes with monstrous price tags, even with the cheapest customization, it costs over US$3000, and it could go up to $7850 without optional external devices. It is definitely a great and expensive Christmas present.
