Johan Billen, a contributor of Minisip, has announced that the porting of Minisip for Maemo has started. When the software is released, Nokia 770 users will be able to make VoIP calls on their internet tablets. Billen is currently asking help from fellow developers to check if minisip is properly working on the Nokia 770.
Minisip is a SIP User Agent (“Internet telephone”) running on Linux, developed Ph.D and Master students at the Royal Institute of Technology, KTH, Stockholm, Sweden.
