Philips unveiled its world’s first ‘Rollable Display’ pocket e-Reader concept READIUS, developed under Philips Polymer Vision, a company concentrating on rollable display technology.
According to the press release, the READIUS consumes little power and its four gray levels monochrome 5” QVGA display is easy to read even in bright daylight. Once the user has finished reading, the display can be rolled back into the pocket-size (100 mm x 60 mm x 20 mm) device.
