iAUDIO 5 is a tiny 2GB flash MP3 player produced by Korean company Cowon Systems, Inc. This colorful MP3 player weighs only 28g (0.983 ounces) without battery, and around 41g (1.44 ounces) with an AAA size NiMH battery; and measures 76.8×35.0×18.0 mm (3.0236×1.378×0.7087 inches) in dimensions.
iAUDIO 5 comes with 4-line wide graphic LCD (128×64 graphic LCD + segment LCD). Also, iAUDIO 5 loaded more than 40,000 fonts to supports multilingual and for beautiful display. Users can freely adjust the backlight to their favourite color as iAUDIO5 provides 1000 colors LED backlight/visualization for its display. Cowon claims that it can play up to 20 hours continuously with an alkaline battery.
Other than the display, iAUDIO 5 features built-in flash memory (256MB/512MB/1GB/2GB), high speed USB2.0 interface, FM tuner, clock feature which supports alarm clock function and scheduled FM recording, lyrics display, dynamic sound provided by BBE Sound, firmware upgrades, playback support for MP3, MP2, OGG, WMA, ASF and WAV, voice recording, listening and recording, direct MP3 encoding and USB storage function.
