Vodafone announced their new GPS-enabled 3G handset on September 7th. This new handsent, the 903T is basically a GPS version of 902T, and they were made by Japanese company Toshiba. The 903T uses Vodafone’s GPS navigation system called “Vodafone Live! NAVI”, which was announced on the same day with the handset. This new navigation system actually allows users to access the GPS map regardless of where they are, even if they are in a foreign country, they can still access it via roaming.
The 903T, measuring 50×111 x 25 mm in dimensions and 149g in weight, share almost exactly the same design with its predecessor, the 902T. It uses the “Active Turn Styleâ€? design, allowing users to swivel the display up to 180 degress clockwise, which makes it more convinient while shooting photos or making video telephony calls.
