Herrington sells the Pocket Power Charger on their Yahoo! store. According to them, you can charge your mobile phone for up to 3 hours talk time with this unit, using any alkaline, lithium or rechargeable AA size battery. It also comes with assortment of connectors to fit virtually all popular cell phone models.
Does it really work? If it does, then why bother to develop Direct Methanol Fuel Cells for mobile phones? If you have seen or used this unit, please comment.
