Nokia Mobile Search
On Monday, Nokia unveiled free search application to enable its smartphone users to search the web using commercial search services.

The software includes three main search features, i.e. local search, which allows its users to search for local services like restaurant and shops; mobile content, which allows its users to find mobile-specific content like wallpaper, ringtones, news, weather reports, horoscopes and games; and media roaming, which allow its users to execute local search when travelling in any country.

So far, the software works with Yahoo!, British yellow pages search engine Yell.com, Nordic search engine Eniro, search technology company Medio, Finnish directory service provider Fonecta, as well as digital map and GIS service providers such as Navteq and AtlasCT.

The software will eventually be included with a number of Nokia smartphones, including the Nokia 6680, 6681 and 6630. In addition, users can download the software for free from Nokia’s Web site.
