Creative has announced their new portable media player, the stylish Creative Zen Vision which comes in either black or white color. This model features a SharpPixâ„¢ 3.7â€? 640×480 pixels transflective screen LCD screen with up to 262K colors, and a 30GB hard drive which can store approximately 120 hours of MPEG-4 videos, 15,000 songs, as well as ten of thousands of photos.
This unit measures 124.2×74.4×20.1 mm in dimensions and weighs 239 g with battery. Its sleek, lightweight casing is made by magnesium alloy. Creative claims the Zen Vision’s Li-Ion battery can provides up to 13 hours of continuous audio playbacks and up to 4.5 hours of continuous video playbacks.
It supports video playbacks in AVI, MPEG-1/2/4-SP, WMV 9, Motion-JPEG, DivX 2 4 and 5 and XviD3; and audio playbacks in MP3, WMA, WMA with Digital Rights Management (DRM) 9 or later and Linear PCM WAV. There’s a built-in Compact Flash card slot for easy file sharing and viewing, an optional CF card adaptor which is compatible with SD, MMC, and Memory Stick is also available seperately.
Other features includes FM radio tuner and recorder, personal organizer, movies and photos slideshow and voice recorder.
The Creative Zen Vision will be available in end of September, Creative is currently accepting pre-orders from U.S. residents for $399.9 on their website.
