What’s cooler than wearing an PDA on your wrist instead of carrying one around with you? As displayed in CES 2005, Fossil’s Abacus Wrist PDA runs on Palm OS 4.1. The processing power comes from a Motorola Dragonballâ„¢ Super VZ 66MHz processor, 8MB RAM, and 4MB Flash memory.
This wrist PDA employs an 160×160 pixels 16 levels grayscale touch screen with EL backlight. There’s a tiny stylus for the touch screen, which is stored in the buckle of the watch strap when not used. It features IrDA and USB interface, as well as software including address book, calendar, todo list, memo pad, calculator and clock. It can operate approximately 3-4 days without recharging its Li-Ion battery.
Sascha Segan wrote a review on this wrist PDA on PC Magazine, which gave good rating for it. Fossil is selling this unit on their website for $199.00.
