It is basically a Linux based Wi-Fi tablet computer, allowing users to browse the web conveniently, as well as to enjoy multimedia or to do some works on it.

Spanish website CincoDias.com reported that Wanadoo, a broadband Internet service provider in Europe, has announced that it will bundle the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet with its ADSL service subscription in Spain. So we don’t have to wailt till before the Christmas, this article also mentioned that the Nokia 770 will be released at the end of this month, with recommeded retail price of 350 Euros (US$424).

So the Nokia 770 Blog pointed out that the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet isn’t made in Finland nor Nokialand (that would be too expensive anyway), it isn’t made in Taiwan nor China either. To my suprise, the 770 is made in Estonia. You don’t believe it? Check out the FCC sticker after the jump.

As Q3 2005 is ending, two weeks ago Nokia’s representative has confirmed that the release date of the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet is pushed to Q4 2005 “to enable more mature software at launch. A decision that we hope that people will recognize as a good move, ultimately benefiting all Nokia 770 users.”
