Sony Ericsson today announced two new Cyber-shot phones, the K810 and the K550. The K810 basically share the same features as the K800, it comes with a 3.2-megapixel camera with auto focus, Cyber-shot Xenon flash with red eye reduction, 17mm thin
2.0†QVGA 262k TFT display, M2 slot with 128MB M2 in-box, 64MB user free memory, and other similar functions.
The K810 is a 3G phone supporting UTMS 2100 network as well as GSM tri-band, while it’s variation model K818 is a GSM only phone. The biggest difference between the K810 and its predecessor K800 is the design of the phone body. The K810 looks a lot more elegant than the bulky K800. This model will be available starting from Q2 2007 onwards.
The K550 is a cheaper version Cyber-shot phone, which comes with a 2.0-megapixel camera with auto focus, Cyber-shot Advanced LED photo light, M2 slot, 64MB user free memory, 14mm thin 1.9†262K TFD LCD display and common software functions. One notable additional function featured on the K550 is Push Mail function. The K550 is a GSM quad-band (850/900/1800/1900) phone. The black version looks cool while the silver version doesn’t look attractive at all. This model will be available starting from Q1 2007 onwards.
