Sony Ericsson today announced two new Cyber-shot phones, the K810 and the K550. The K810 basically share the same features as the K800, it comes with a 3.2-megapixel camera with auto focus, Cyber-shot Xenon flash with red eye reduction, 17mm thin
2.0â€ QVGA 262k TFT display, M2 slot with 128MB M2 in-box, 64MB user free memory, and other similar functions.
The K810 is a 3G phone supporting UTMS 2100 network as well as GSM tri-band, while it’s variation model K818 is a GSM only phone. The biggest difference between the K810 and its predecessor K800 is the design of the phone body. The K810 looks a lot more elegant than the bulky K800. This model will be available starting from Q2 2007 onwards.
The K550 is a cheaper version Cyber-shot phone, which comes with a 2.0-megapixel camera with auto focus, Cyber-shot Advanced LED photo light, M2 slot, 64MB user free memory, 14mm thin 1.9â€ 262K TFD LCD display and common software functions. One notable additional function featured on the K550 is Push Mail function. The K550 is a GSM quad-band (850/900/1800/1900) phone. The black version looks cool while the silver version doesn’t look attractive at all. This model will be available starting from Q1 2007 onwards.
